RIO is currently in Lebanon. He will be coming to Canada as soon as he has an adopter.

RIO is often described as a "perfect dog". He is calm, well-behaved and has a high play drive. This very charismatic dog grabs your attention right away - with his striking looks and friendly demeanor.

When the war broke out in Lebanon, RIO was left behind in the chaos of downtown Beirut. Starving and frightened, he learned to survive on the streets. RIO showed some amazing resilience and his spirit never broke. RIO remained gentle, affectionate and eager to connect with people.

This wonderful boy clearly once knew the comfort of a home as he shows signs of basic training and loves to play fetch. His calm, easy-going nature will make his transition to a new family almost effortless. RIO deserves the chance to be loved again and to leave behind the painful memories of abandonment.

Personality:  Friendly, Social with people, Social with dogs, affectionate, playful, trusting, calm, confident.
