What is the adoption process?

Please see the Adoption Process, under the Adopt tab.

What is SPONSOR-TO-ADOPT?

Unfortunately, in many cases, rescuers in Lebanon are forced to put dogs in shelters, when paid boarding isn’t an option. When we’re looking for a sponsor-to-adopt, we are looking for an adopter who can contribute additional funds to sponsor their care, so they can be removed from the shelter. Additional contributions can include boarding fees, cost of food, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, etc..

Where can I find the dogs available for adoption?

Please see the Adopt page, under the Adopt tab.

I’ve submitted my application. Why haven’t I heard back?

Thanks for submitting your application! Kindly note, we get MANY applications at a time and it is impossible for us to accept them all. Only those who are moving forward in the application process will be contacted. We appreciate your understanding.

What is the adoption fee?

Each RDL-C rescue is different. Please email us to find out the adoption fee for a particular dog.

What can you tell me about the dogs?

Unfortunately, the majority of RDL-C rescues have been abandoned, neglected and abused. Our team in Lebanon works extensively with vets, fosters, and shelter staff to evaluate the dog medically and behaviourally. The bio of each dog is based on these assessments.
