Vance is a happy, confident boy with an easygoing personality and a serious love of cuddles. He is friendly with people and dogs, comfortable in his own skin, and has a wonderfully positive spirit. Independent but affectionate, Vance has a way of bringing good energy wherever he goes.
His Story
Vance is one of Max and Sasha's puppies. He was born behind a shopping mall along a busy highway in Dbayye, Lebanon, where he and his siblings survived thanks to their parents' resilience and devotion.
Sasha and all nine of her puppies were eventually found in a flooded pothole and rescued by RDL-C with the help of GAEA Animal Welfare. Vance and six of his siblings successfully battled leptospirosis, and Vance went on to overcome parvovirus as well.
After everything he has been through, Vance is healthy, happy, and ready for his next adventure.

What He Needs
Vance's time in isolation while receiving medical treatment helped shape him into a particularly independent young dog. Unlike some of his siblings, he is perfectly comfortable spending time on his own and confidently approaches new people and dogs.
He is also making great progress with his leash skills and is easily motivated to learn. His positive attitude makes training a rewarding experience, and his good-natured spirit seems to rub off on everyone around him.
Like his siblings, Vance will still need to learn what life in a home looks like. Housetraining, household routines, and all the little things that come with being a family dog will be new to him, so his adopter will need to provide patience and consistency as he makes that transition.
Vance has already shown just how resilient he can be. After surviving illness, isolation, and shelter life, he has come through it all with his happy spirit intact. Now he is ready to trade his shelter life for a family of his own—and bring plenty of cuddles and fluffy goodness along with him.
