TAP TAP/BABY BOY TT

TAP TAP/BABY BOY TT - The early days

TAP TAP/BABY BOY TT is currently in Lebanon. Once we find an adopter for him, he will come to Canada.
TAP TAP or as he is known affectionately, BABY BOY TT, is a playful and at times mischievous little dude! This handsome puppy started out as a little chunky, miniature polar bear who stole everyone's heart. No one can resist this adorable munchkin and TAP TAP knows it. He was born under difficult circumstances but so lucky to have the love of his mother, his fosters and his rescuers. He is a happy boy and will be ready for adoption soon!
CHA CHA (his mother) was living on the streets in Lebanon. She became pregnant and we suspect she became very sick because of infections and injuries as well as poor nutrition. When GAEA Animal Welfare found her she was dying. In a heroic effort to save mother and babies, her rescuer brought her to the vet. The birthing process took 3 days and CHA CHA was obviously in agony the entire time. So much so, her rescuers did not think she would make it. CHA CHA gave birth to 12 puppies. Six died at birth while five more died over the next few days following birth. Only one puppy survived: TAP TAP. Even though she was exhausted, CHA CHA took care of her puppies but most were simply not strong enough to survive.
RDL-C was involved from the start, paying for all of the vet bills. CHA CHA had several medical issues: A hernia, anaplasma, ehrlichia, anemia, infection and a dehydrated liver. Shortly after birth she started bleeding out and was diagnosed with pyometra. Emergency surgery was performed and she survived. CHA CHA could no longer feed her remaining puppy so GAEA rescuers bottle fed TAP TAP.
Today, CHA CHA is healthy and strong. She is a wonderful mother to her boy TAP TAP even if she could not feed him. Because of all the care and love that went into raising this boy, we are certain TAP TAP will make a great addition to any family.
Personality: Friendly, social with people, social with dogs. He's a puppy so still growing into his own.
TAP TAP is not housetrained and as all puppies do, will need proper training as he grows older. We are looking for an adopter who either has experience raising a dog from puppyhood or is very motivated to do so. Puppies are a handful and the adopter would have to dedicate time and effort (and money) to raise him properly.
Currently lives at a paid foster home.
