MAX is currently in Lebanon. He will be coming to Canada as soon as he has an adopter.MAX can be aloof when first meeting a new human. However, MAX is kind and gentle in his interactions. He is very dog savvy and handles new doggy encounters like a pro. This gentleman will make a thoughtful companion to anyone lucky enough to adopt him.MAX lived on the streets and chose SASHA (another one of our rescue) as his mate. MAX and SASHA had 9 puppies, 8 of which were rescued and 7 of them survived and are under RDL-C care. MAX is a true leader. He protected his family and eventually brought in OLIO (which RDL-C rescued as well) to join his pack. His days of roaming the streets and scavenging for food are over thanks to RDL-C who made sure he was properly vetted and sheltered.MAX has an independent streak but he is good natured and appears to excel at communicating with other dogs as well as positively interacting with humans he meets. He has improved his leash walking but will definitely need more training with that. MAX is a jumper so a backyard with a high fence is a must for this boy. He will also need to be housetrained.
