DARBY

Currently in Lebanon — ready to travel to Canada once he finds his match.

Darby is a gentle, affectionate boy with a wonderfully balanced personality. He loves to play and have fun, but he is just as happy settling in for some quiet cuddles with his people. A sweet and sensitive soul, Darby may take a little time to feel comfortable in unfamiliar situations, but once he knows he is safe, his loving personality shines through.

His Story
Darby is one of Max and Sasha's puppies. He was born behind a shopping mall along a busy highway in Dbayye, Lebanon, where he and his siblings depended on their parents' resilience and devotion to survive.

Sasha and all nine of her puppies were eventually found in a flooded pothole and rescued by RDL-C with the help of GAEA Animal Welfare. Darby and six of his siblings went on to battle leptospirosis and, thankfully, made a full recovery.

Today, Darby is healthy, happy, and ready for the chance to discover what life is like in a loving home.

About Darby
-Gentle and affectionate**
- Friendly and social with people and dogs
- Playful and loving
- Sensitive and thoughtful in new situations**

What He Needs
Darby is a sensitive boy who can become a little nervous when faced with new people, environments, or unfamiliar situations. Once he has had that opportunity to assess, he settles in and regains his confidence fairly quickly.

His new family should be patient and understanding as he learns about the world outside the boarding environment. He will need some leash training, housetraining, and continued socialization, but Darby is a quick learner and genuinely wants to please his people.

With the right guidance and a little patience, this sweet boy has all the makings of a wonderful family companion. He has spent his life surrounded by uncertainty; now he deserves a family who will give him the time, security, and love he needs to feel completely at home.

We have a friendly and interactive adoption process, so feel free to contact us.

Currently lives at a paid boarding facility.
