BELLA is affectionately called "BELLA without a Villa" by RDL-C staff who have come to love this sweet, medium-sized golden sweetheart.
BELLA's original wealthy owner lived in a Villa in Lebanon. However, BELLA was kept chained outside. When her owner came upon financial hardship, he gave her up to one of his employees who could not really afford to take care of BELLA. She was removed from the only home she knew to be chained up again in the garden of her new owner.
RDL-C stepped in and has taken care of BELLA ever since. She received veterinarian care right away and RDL-C covered the cost of having her gallbladder removed. She's no longer chained up and has a roof over her head until she can find a permanent home. Her current foster is also training her.
This very playful, loving girl deserves a good home and we think would make a wonderful addition to any Canadian home.
Personality: Friendly, social with people, social with dogs, playful.
BELLA would benefit from a confident owner willing to continue her training as she was chained outside most of her life.
Currently lives at a paid foster home.
